Ms. Whitney focuses her practice on commercial real estate, advising clients on the leasing, acquisition, disposition, and development of industrial, retail, office, and agricultural properties.

Katherine has significant experience in commercial finance, including real estate acquisition and development. She began her career in commercial lending, underwriting commercial loans, managing construction draws, and monitoring borrower performance for compliance with loan conditions. She regularly and drafts documents for purchase and sale, subdivision, development, construction, leasing, easements, due diligence, zoning analysis, title review, and more. She is skilled at resolving lien priority issues and easement disputes.

Katherine earned her J.D. at the University of Colorado Law School where she expanded her business and legal experience by interning with the Honorable Judge David M. Furman on the Colorado Court of Appeals, a contract lobbyist, and a civil litigation firm. She was elected to the law school’s financial advisory board and served as an editor of The Harvard Journal of Law & Public Policy.
